Affiliation, Stock Tokens, execution, the $HISS token, and other straight answers.

Is HISS affiliated with Robinhood?

No. HISS is an independent research project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Robinhood — or Bankr, Chainlink, or Disney. It builds on publicly documented Robinhood Chain contracts the way any third-party developer can.

Does HISS own or hold stocks?

No. HISS holds nothing — no stocks, no tokens, no user funds. A Hiss is a published document (a manifest), not a position.

Are Stock Tokens shares?

No. Robinhood Chain Stock Tokens are tokenized derivatives issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Ltd — not direct ownership of the underlying stock, no voting rights. They are not offered to persons in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Switzerland, and other restricted jurisdictions, and eligibility checks apply.

Can HISS trade for me?

No — not in the public build. Live execution is disabled by flag, rebalance output is suggestions-only, and MCP exports are text plans that require explicit per-order approval inside your own agent. Nothing in HISS places orders.

What is a Hiss?

A strategy object: one thesis expressed as a weighted basket of canonical Robinhood Chain assets, published as a portable manifest that anyone can read, score, or fork. See Concepts.

What is Basket Wars?

Weekly competitive seasons for published Hisses — categories from Top Hiss to Most Cursed, ranked on simulated PnL, drawdown, HISS Score, and fork counts. All performance is simulated. See Basket Wars.

Why weights in bps?

Basis points are integers, so a basket's weights are exact and verifiable: they must sum to precisely 10,000, with no floating-point rounding ambiguity between clients.

Why is the address the identity?

Tickers collide and even disagree with on-chain symbols (the registry's CUSO is USO on-chain). An address is unforgeable and unambiguous — a matching ticker at a different address is a fake. See Asset registry.

Is the $HISS token launched?

NO. There is no launched $HISS token. No contract address, no presale, no airdrop. Anything claiming to be a live $HISS token is fake — do not buy it.

What does Bankr do?

When configured server-side, the Bankr Agent API acts as the AI Strategist's brain, turning whispers into draft baskets that HISS repairs and validates. Without it, a deterministic mock answers. See Bankr integration.

What is x402?

A machine-payment protocol built on HTTP status 402: agents pay per API request in stablecoins, no accounts or API keys. HISS ships ten x402 endpoints, currently in free mock mode. See x402 payments.

$HISS is independent research software in paper mode — not investment advice, and not affiliated with Robinhood, Bankr, or Chainlink.
