HISS reward flywheel
userHow verified HISS-token trading fees become xHISS injections: claim, classification, split, funding, and injection — planned is not funded, funded is not claimable.
The reward flywheel is the pipeline that turns verified $HISS trading-fee claims into xHISS injections and the other reward legs. Every stage is a separate, provable state — the pipeline never skips ahead, and no stage is ever presumed from the previous one.
The five stages
- Claim. A fee claim lands in the HISS Bankr wallet. The claim transaction is imported and chain-verified (receipt status + decoded transfer logs) — dashboard numbers are never upgraded to on-chain facts.
- Classify. The claim is classified source-by-source. Only deltas marked
hiss_trading_feewith high confidence are eligible. Creator vesting, WETH, manual transfers, pre-existing balances, and unclassified deltas are excluded — fail-closed, at two independent layers. - Split. The eligible HISS splits 50/30/10/10 (policy): xHISS stakers, depositor vesting, provider rewards, treasury. 100% of claimed WETH goes to the Treasury Safe.
- Fund. Funding a split plan is owner-gated (approval env flag + exact plan-hash confirmation) and every transfer is verified on-chain before the plan is marked funded.
- Inject. The xHISS leg reaches stakers only when a Safe-approved injector calls
injectRewardson the deployed vault, dripping over 24 hours. Until the vault is deployed, the xHISS leg has a null recipient and nothing moves against it.
Why the flywheel can stall — honestly
- No trading volume → no fee claims → nothing to classify or split.
- Low-confidence classification → the claim is excluded, by design.
- xHISS not deployed → the staker leg stays planned with a null recipient.
- Owner flags absent → funding refuses, fail-closed.
None of these are failure modes of honesty — they are the states the system is built to report. Historical fee distributions are not forecasts, and the flywheel is not a promise of future injections. Not a performance claim.
